Aboriginal Quitline, can they help a pregnant mum quit smoking?

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women or a woman with an Aboriginal baby can speak to an Aboriginal Quitline counsellor for free by calling 13 78 48.

Aboriginal Quitline counsellors provide confidential, culturally appropriate and safe support. They have the most up-to-date knowledge of quitting smoking in pregnancy and tailor their support for each mother’s journey.

The service is available 8.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday to Friday.

You can also ask your GP or other service provider to refer you to the Aboriginal Quitline and they will give you a call which can be done using the two methods below:
